"Advertisers Ditching Laura Ingraham`s Show Over Attack On Parkland Survivor"

"March for Our Lives will `start a revolution,` Parkland school-shooting survivor says" By Mark Osborne, March 24, 2018

(Discussion Number 2)

Let me say first, I don`t know much about Ms. Ingraham or her show. I have never watched or listened to her show in my life. As to Mr. David Hogg, I know he is an individual at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, but other than that not much is known about this person. Of course, I have read about the political movement Mr. Hogg belongs to.

Nevertheless, in a line of reasoning, it seems like Ms. Ingraham and Mr. Hogg are at odds in certain circumstances. Alas, it seems like Fox News` Laura Ingraham has said something that is simply not politically acceptable against Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School person David Hogg (Ms. Ingraham, evidently, mocked Mr. Hogg in regard to not being accepted into certain universities). All in all, Ms. Ingraham quoted certain aspects in regard to Mr. Hogg`s university rejections. In a retaliatory nature, Mr. Hogg has taken to the vast expanses of social media and asked his supporters to vigorously and heartily hit Ms. Ingraham`s sponsors with threats of boycotting said sponsors` products. Mr. Hogg has even provided a long list of Ms. Ingraham`s sponsors for the purpose of contact. One of the sponsors is Wayfair. And, conveniently, Mr. Hogg has a helper named Shannon Coulter, who has posted on social media. Thus speaketh Ms. Shannon Coulter saying, `Hi, @Wayfair: your name was mentioned today as a possible advertiser on the @FoxNews show, @IngrahamAngle. Do you advertise on this show and if so, are you concerned about Ms. Ingraham`s recent mocking of Parkland shooting survivor @davidhogg111`s college application status?` Notice how Ms. S. Coulter has managed to get `Parkland shooting survivor` into the mix of discussion? And, so, it begins with some of the sponsors caving like huge ice glaciers into the cold water and, consequently, pulling their advertising from Ms. Ingraham`s show. Such a Mr. David Hogg playbook approach of attacking Ms. Ingraham`s program sponsors, to get to her, is working well as Ms. Ingraham is falling all over herself to apologize for any and all remarks directed at Mr. David Hogg.

Nevertheless, and after all, what goes around may most assuredly come around. And, if Mr. Hogg had not mentioned or posted the circumstances, concerning his university applications, I suppose no one would know about his post K12 plans or university school status or be the wiser one way or the other. Now, to be fair, let us visit some of Mr. David Hogg`s quotes:

• "Today we are going to start a revolution."

• "We will change America with or without these politicians,"

• The Florida teen suggested…the need for more firearms restrictions. "It`s due to a ... mental health care problem, a gun control problem, and an American problem," he said. (`an American problem,` ???)

• The NRA is "just disgusting," hen [sic] told ABC News.`

• `Florida school shooting survivor David Hogg urges others to `use white privilege` to ensure gun violence in `black community` is heard.`

• The Outline, a New York-based media company, sent two journalists to speak with Hogg at his home to discuss the gun-control efforts that he and some of his classmates have tried to push through Congress since the Feb. 14 shooting. "They`re pathetic f_****s that want to keep killing our children," said Hogg, referring to the NRA. "They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn`t take action, because they all still see those dollar signs."

And, I will add, there are other quotes out there by Mr. David Hogg that a person can certainly research and use. And, never ever forget, Mr. Hogg has already provided us with a long, long list of Ms. Ingraham`s sponsors for everyone to contact; such a list is easy to find. But now it is time to play, `Place in the Quote and Contact the Sponsor.` This is really a good game and it should be fun to read any sponsor`s responses and `knee-jerk` replies.

So, how about this example of contact to an Ingraham show sponsor per social media:

`Hello, @Wayfair: your name was mentioned today as an advertiser on the @FoxNews show, @IngrahamAngle. Yes, your company, as an advertiser of Ms. Ingraham, is recorded on a list provided by Mr. David Hogg. At this time, it is my understanding that you have stopped supporting the Fox news show (Laura Ingraham`s Show) by pulling your advertising. It is my assumption, and I have to believe because of your observable actions, that you are now backing and supporting Mr. David Hogg. So, Wayfair, do you support revolutions in America? Mr. David Hogg said, "Today, we are going to start a revolution." So, Wayfair, if you have pulled your advertising from the above noted show, I must conclude that you support revolution in America and are against our Constitution and our Constitutional process. After all, that is what Mr. Hogg is quoted as saying, "Today, we are going to start a revolution." Therefore, neither my family nor I will be patronizing your un-American company or its products.

Or

`Hello, @Wayfair: your name was mentioned today as an advertiser on the @FoxNews show, @IngrahamAngle. Yes, your company, as an advertiser of Ms. Ingraham, is recorded on a list provided by Mr. David Hogg. At this time, it is my understanding that you have stopped supporting the Fox news show (Laura Ingraham`s Show) by pulling your advertising. It is my assumption, and I have to believe because of your objective and observable actions, that you are now backing and supporting Mr. David Hogg. Directly to Wayfair, are you against the NRA (National Rifle Association [founded in 1871]) and its membership? Remember, too, Wayfair, the NRA is its membership. The Outline, a New York-based media company, sent two journalists to speak with Mr. Hogg. "They`re pathetic f_****s that want to keep killing our children," said Hogg, referring to the NRA. "They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn`t take action, because they all still see those dollar signs." To Wayfair, if you have pulled your advertising from the above noted show, I must conclude that you are anti-NRA, care not for each NRA member, and you believe that each NRA member hates children. After all, this is what Mr. Hogg is essentially quoted as having said. Therefore, neither my family nor I will be patronizing your communistic company or its products. Does Wayfair not believe in the Second Amendment or the Bill of Rights to the United States Constitution given to us by the Founding Fathers?

Anyway, with the above examples, I think a person gets the point aimed at and the gist intended.

Now, one last avenue of thought: All situations and circumstances taken into account, just how difficult would it be to protect our schools if certain individuals really, really wanted schools protected? I would say very easy and, on top of that, an individual would be able to keep his or her rifle. It is called a win-win situation. Consequently, schools would not be shot-up with no infringement upon the Second Amendment taking place. However, the protection of schools and other people oriented entities is really not the motivation of certain individuals who pull very hard to the left.

Additionally, has one ever noticed that Mr. Hogg always seems to be close to a microphone, or have one in his hand, which, I guess, is certainly fine as Ms. Ingraham seems to always be close to a microphone as well.
